Privacy
Your household context is private. Here's what that means.
Your data stays yours
Everything you add to Merimna—plants, meals, schedules, notes—belongs to you. We don't sell it. We don't share it. We don't use it to train AI models or show you advertisements.
Your household's information is visible only to members of your household. No one else can see it.
What we collect
We collect the minimum information needed to make Merimna work:
- Your email address (for authentication)
- The content you add to Merimna (plants, meals, schedules, etc.)
- Basic usage patterns to maintain service reliability
We don't track your behavior across other websites. We don't build profiles. We don't collect information we don't need.
How we protect your data
Your data is stored securely. Access is restricted to your household. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.
We don't do anything unexpected. No surprises. No dark patterns.
How to delete your data
You can delete your data at any time from your account settings. When you delete your account, all your household data is permanently removed.
No retention. No backup copies kept indefinitely. When you delete it, it's gone.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we'll notify you clearly. No hidden updates. No fine print.
You'll always have the option to export your data and leave if you disagree with changes.
Questions?
If you have questions about how Merimna handles your data, we're happy to answer them. This should feel safe, not complicated.
